Inclusive and thought-provoking slate set to inspire audiences on SBS in 2018

 

In November, SBS announced their upcoming content slate to audiences in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane.

 

Highlights include:

  • Five new Australian commissioned dramas including gripping psychological thriller Safe Harbour and crime drama Dead Lucky starring Rachel Griffiths
  • Expanded sports catalogue with the 2018 French Open, and the return of the FIFA World Cup, live from Russia
  • Season two of the hugely popular The Handmaid's Tale and The Good Fight, and the long awaited first series of Knightfall
  • The 40th anniversary of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and the 63rd annual Eurovision Song Contest
  • 29 Australian factual commissions across documentary, food, entertainment and news and current affairs including the ground breaking Go Back Live and Muslims Like Us
  • SBS VICELAND local commissions to air in Australia and across the world
  • The Ghan, an immersive three hour 'slow TV' event that invites viewers on a real time journey on the iconic train ride from Adelaide to Darwin
  • The return of food favourite's Adam Liaw in Destination Flavour China, Luke Nguyen in Luke Nguyen's Food Trail, and Maeve O'Meara in Food Safari Water
